She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brown and Patricia Brown; her brother Joseph; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Hoyer and Dennis Fietz.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Hess; her children, James (Erica), Madeline Ludwig (Hayden) and Patricia Wagner (Austin); her grandsons, Oliver and Arthur Ludwig; and her sisters, Patricia Fietz, Eileen Brown, Kathleen Hobein (Jim), Lillian Hoyer and Ruth Geisheimer. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
