He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Ferguson and Emily S. Ferguson; his son Daniel Evan; his sister Margaret F. Garrison; his wife Alice; and his daughter Bonnie Jean.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Jeanette Kaulfers of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by thirteen nephews and nieces and many grand- nephews.
