She was predeceased by : her son Michael P. Whalen; and her sister Judy Bruno. She is survived by : her husband Joseph DeVivo of Point Pleasant; her children, Diana DeVivo (Zak Kaplan) of Neptune City and Joseph DeVivo of Point Pleasant; her granddaughter Mazzy Jane Kaplan; and her siblings, James Kemmer of Middletown and Joan McTague of Florida.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the O'Brien Funeral Home - Brick (505 Burnt Tavern Rd, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martha's Church (3800 Herbertsville Rd, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742).
