He was predeceased by: his wife Halina Matechak (Kuczynska); his parents, Sylvester Matechak and Katherine Matechak (DeLeo); and his brother Arthur Matichak. He is survived by: his children, Denise Beard (Rick) and Kevin Matechak (Janine); and his grandson Jonathan Matechak.
