He is survived by: his wife Coral; his children, Abby Yedman (Gary), Emily Thomas (George) and Joshua Thomas (Kristin); his grandchildren, Bella, Anna, Ryley, Sam, Emma, Henry, Simon, Quincy, Milya and Anya; his brothers, Ernie Thomas (Karen) and John Thomas; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth "Betty-Ann" Chiacchio, Robert Iasillo, Lois Grauer (Dale) and David Lehmann (David Wilson); and his siblings' children, Maria, Ricky, Jay, Meredith, Barbara Anne, Bobby, Lana, Jodi, Erik, Rachael, Meghan Jean and Ryan.

“My deepest condolences and prayers on the loss of Allen for his family and friends. He was my terrific boss many years ago at Guardian Title on Hadley. He was a nice man who I greatly liked and admired. He taught me that you can't do the job if you don't have the right tools and never assume anything. When you do, you're likely to be wrong. I often reflect upon those lessons. God bless Allen's soul. May he rest in eternal peace with the Almighty.”
