He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer S. and Connie. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Anne (Fullerton), Susan and Mary Lee; his sons-in-law, Brian Fullerton and Rick Bistline; his granddaughters, Sarah and Alexandra Fullerton; his pets, Tiki, Murphy, Cooper and Captain Izzy; and his siblings, Judith Ziegler and Loren Pence.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Elmer's memory to the New Jersey Maritime Museum https://njmaritimemuseum.org or an animal rescue of your choice.
