He is survived by: his wife Sheela Bhattacharjee; his children, Sourav Bhattacharjee and Sarika Bhattacharjee; his daughter-in-law Christine Lu Bhattacharjee; his brother Soumitra Bhattacharya; his sister-in-law Soma Bhattacharya; and his nephew Sandipan Bhattacharya.
