We announce the death of Judith Ann Petito of Belleville, New Jersey, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 88. Judith Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Puehlhorn and Elena Puehlhorn (Reboli); her sons, Anthony Petito Jr. and Peter Petito Sr.; and her siblings, Richard Puehlhorn, Ronald Puehlhorn, Joyce Brauchle and Joan Bader.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Beston (Bill), Victoria "Vicki" DeMunno, Angelo Petito, Cheryl Hoffman, Carol Biederwolf (Shawn), Michael Petito and Christine Aemisegeo; her grandchildren, William Petito (Allison), Peter Petito, Bonnie Adelmann, Thomas Petito (Cheryl), Jennifer Handlin (Richard), Anthony Petito Jr., Candice "Candie" Smith (Robert), Dominick Petito and Tonianne Petito; and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha, Bella, Ryker, Willow, Grayson, Phoenix and Henry.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Judy's memory by spending time with loved ones, sharing a meal together, and creating the kind of cherished family moments that she treasured throughout her life.
