He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentin Alava and Luz Maria Andrade Salle. He is survived by: his wife Emilia P. Alava; his daughter Wendy Alava-Hernandez (Adolfo); his grandchildren, Jason Alava (Jillian), Lauren Gallucci (Thomas), Adriana, Sebastian Hernandez, Maxwell Gallucci and Cameron Alava; his sister Tito Perfecto Alava; and his children, Tito Jr., Luis Alava, Winston Galo Alava, Enrique Lynch, Gladys Lynch, Mercedes Lynch, Lindoro Lynch and Luisa Matias Andrade. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. (403 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071). A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Holy Cross Chapel (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
