He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Bruce and Harry Bruce; his wife Elizabeth; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Renn and Joan Bruce.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Bruce (Edith), Frank Bruce (Tara), Michael Bruce (Judy), Cherylyn Rogers (John) and Kimberly Bruce; his grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, Nicolette, Joey, Karlie, Johnny, Collin, Giana and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Michael Joseph and Luca James; and his siblings, Harry Bruce and Jane Renn.
