He is survived by: his wife Catherine McKay O'Brien; his children, Gilbert F. Jr. (Adriana O'Brien), Maureen (Tom Peter) and Michael P. O'Brien of Neptune; his siblings, Brian O'Brien of Naples, FL and Diane O'Brien of Hawaii; and his grandchildren, Daniel O'Brien, Colin, Katie and Kelly Peter.
