Peter Gilbert Obituary
We announce the death of Peter Gilbert of Belmar, New Jersey, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on October 26, 2026, at the age of 61. Peter will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Gilbert and Margaret Gilbert; and his parents-in-law, William and Rose O'Hern. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Gilbert; his children, Shannon (Thomas), Sean (Rebecca) and Patrick; his siblings, Linda (Brian) and David; his siblings-in-law, Bill O'Hern (Julie), Kelly O'Hern and Patrick O'Hern; and his nephews, Billy (Jamie), Danny, Timmy and Johnny O'Hern.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Orender Family Home For Funerals (2643 Old Bridge Rd, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Rose Church (603 7th Ave, Belmar, NJ 07719).
