He was predeceased by : his spouse Jean Basel (Johnson). He is survived by : his children, Paddy Canovas (Diego), Kathy Perrine (Ed), Terry Grzankowski (Ed) and Tommy Basel (Jillian); his grandchildren, Jamie, Sarah, Brandon, Candice, Aubrey, Jackie, Breann and Randy; and his caregiver Donna Lukiyanets. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
