With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Rutherford in Belvidere, New Jersey, born in Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Orner and Vera Sobetsky. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shane, Shelby and Coby Bishop; her husband Wayne Rutherford; her children, Shawn Bishop (Jon), Ryan Rutherford (Tamara) and Kelly Rutherford; her siblings, Donna McCarren (Chick), Donald Orner Jr. (Nina) and Michelle Cayce (Rick); her uncle Charlie; and her aunt Polly Orner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the MacFadden Funeral Home (325 Hardwick St, Belvidere, NJ 07823). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to the charity of one's choice.
