He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Concannon (Hegarty); his children, Mary Anne (Glenn Gorman), John (Elizabeth), Theresa (Bob McBey), Jimmy (Moira) and Jacqueline (Pat Ryan); his grandchildren, Kyle, Julia, Vanessa, George, Alexander, Jack, Andrew, Ashley, Ryan, James, Colin, Devin and Emma; his parents, Margaret Concannon (Maggie) and James Concannon (Big Jimmy); and his brother James Thomas.
