In the vast expanse of eternity, Lily shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lily farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Douglas Loo of Phoenix, Arizona, Lawrence Hing of San Francisco, California and Edward Hing of Holyoke, Massachusetts.; her brothers, Leon Cheng of Clifton and Raymond Cheng of Madrid; her husband Jin Hing Goon; and her parents, Wei-Fun Cheng and Miu Hing Cheng.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to APIA Scholars, supporting the education of Asian American and Pacific Islander students—a cause that reflects her deep belief in opportunity, hard work, and the transformative power of education.
