It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sethu Karyat (Bergenfield, New Jersey), who passed away on May 10, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Sethu departs from our midst, their spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sethu. Though Sethu may no longer walk beside us, their legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Riewerts Memorial (187 S Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ 07621). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Syriac Orthodox Church (173 N Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ 07621). A burial was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Westwood Cemetery (23 Kinderkamack Rd, Woodcliff Lake, NJ 07677).
