She was predeceased by : her parents, Wanda Bania (Nierobca) and Kazimierz Bania; and her brother Henryk Bania. She is survived by : her husband Zdzislaw "Mark" Swidzinski; and her children, Wioletta Giza (Jacek) and Kevin Swidzinski. She is also survived by her family and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial (646 Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Roman Catholic Church (146 Irvine Turner Blvd, Newark, NJ 07103).
