It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroline Maury Crooks-Knight (Berkeley Heights, New Jersey), who passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Caroline may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Caroline touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Stout Crooks and William A. Crooks; and her husband John Knox Knight. She is survived by: her sister Mary Crooks Barnard of Kansas City; her children, John, Jr. (Anne-Marie) of New Canaan, CT., Andrew "Andy" of Summit, NJ. and Sara "Sally" (Dave) of Mauldin, SC.; and her grandchildren, Michael Knight, Alex Knight of Summit, NJ., Sean Knight of Fort Lauderdale, FL. and Emily Knight of New Canaan, CT.. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
