The passing of Eileen M. Sloane (Berkeley Heights, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Cawley and Francis F. Cawley; her husband George B. Sloane; her siblings, Donald Cawley, Beatrice O'Rourke, Kenneth Cawley and Gerald Cawley; and her siblings-in-law, John O'Rourke, Jane and Arlene Cawley.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Delia (Anthony), Lynda Bennett and Robert Sloane; her grandchildren, Krista, Alexandra, Andrew, George, Julianne, Robert, Tom, Megan, Victoria, Dan and Lauren; and her sister-in-law Peg Cawley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial (646 Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Peace Church (111 South St, New Providence, NJ 07974). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery (225 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069).
