In loving memory of Gerard Richard Sachsel (Berkeley Heights, New Jersey), who departed this world on November 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Gerard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Susan; his parents, Rudolph and Irene; and his siblings, Dorothy, Richard, Arthur and Barbara.

He is survived by: his son Jonathan V. Sachsel (Melissa); his grandchildren, Zachary and Xander; his son Gregory G. Sachsel (Caroline); his grandchildren, Luke, Charlie and Noah; and his son Richard A. Sachsel. He is also survived by his three children and grandfather to his five grandsons.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial (646 Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Church (111 South St, New Providence, NJ 07974).
