He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard Cody and Mary Cody (Smyth); his brothers, Frederic and Peter; and his brother-in-law Edward Jarose.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy (Anthony) and John (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Alyssa Marie (Jason), Anna Elizabeth, Anthony Peter, Austin Raymond, Andrew James and Ava Rose; his great grandchildren, Milania, Lucia and Santino; his siblings, Rev. John R. Cody, C. Ss and James; his siblings-in-law, Patricia, Judy, Susan, Frank, Arlene Parisi, John Ober, MaryAnn Swartz and Gerry Aubert; Rosemarie Cody (Parisi). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives, and friends.
