He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Benson and Francis Benson. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; and his children, Thomas Benson, Jr., John Benson (Susan), Robert Benson (Marianne), Kathleen Waraksa (Stephen), Lisa Way and Christopher Benson (Susana). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, with 3 more great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
