He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Benson and Francis Benson. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; and his children, Thomas Benson, Jr., John Benson (Susan), Robert Benson (Marianne), Kathleen Waraksa (Stephen), Lisa Way and Christopher Benson (Susana). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, with 3 more great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial (646 Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Little Flower (310 Plainfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922).
