He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Garrett and Emma Mae Bennington; his siblings, Henry Garrett, Orville Garrett, Woodrow Garrett, Thomas Garrett and Pauline Henderson; and his grandchildren, Raven Doss and Michael Capone.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Petrick Garrett; his children, Paul Joseph Garrett (Christine) of Florida, Stacey Gail Garrett of Toms River and Candace Diane Capone of Port St; and his siblings, Frankie Garrett (Jackie), Calvin Garrett (Jean), Sarah Colman, Louise Higgenbotham and Mary Warren. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Timothy E. Ryan Home For Funerals (145 St Catherine Blvd, Toms River, NJ 08755). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
