He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sternick and Johanna Sternick; and his brother Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Mark, Mary Jo, Christopher, Valerie, Andrew and Raymond; and his brother Paul. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home (101 S Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Seney DriveBernardsville (111 Claremont Rd, Bernardsville, NJ 07924). An entombment was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (145 Mt Airy Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920).
