David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bettie Koons and Kenneth Koons; his brother Paul; and his wife Patricia Gaffney.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Martyrs Catholic Church (120 Allison Rd, Oreland, PA 19075). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Archbishop Ryan High School's track and field project would be greatly appreciated.
