She was predeceased by: her parents, Marciano and Helen Roque (Clarke); her brothers, Richard, Robert and Ronald Roque; her grandson Reed Herbolsheimer; and her former husband William Herbolsheimer.
She is survived by: her close friend Patricia Hirsekorn; her children, David Herbolsheimer and Kathleen Saylor (Herbolsheimer); her grandson Matthew Saylor; her sister Rita Roque (Roque); Andrew and Christopher Hirsekorn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She was honored with the Military Service Medal by the Camden County Board of Commissioners and received a Living Legend Proclamation from the Military Women's Memorial Foundation in Arlington. A dedicated participant in the University of Pennsylvania Memory Program, she left a final, profound gift by donating her brain to research.
