With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Winnie VanAuken of Blairstown, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Sipley and Winifred Osmun; her husband Emmett VanAuken; and her siblings, Margaret, Mildred, Charles, Floyd "Bob", Earl and John.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Apgar (Richard) and Emmett VanAuken; her stepdaughter Faye Markle; and her grandchildren, Kyle R. VanAuken, Branden VanAuken (Nina) and Ethan Simonson (Carol). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
