It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gail Nancy Kabasakalian of Bloomfield, New Jersey, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Greenbury and Isabelle Greenbury; her husband Peter; her daughter Joan McDermott; and her son-in-law Eugene McDermott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Kabasakalian of Encinitas and Bette Nielsen (Robert) of Mine Hill; her grandchildren, Kate, Peter, Amy and Jon McDermott; and her siblings, Isabelle Anderson, Constance Greenbury, Virginia Corcoran, Harold Sutter, Robert Greenbury, Frank Greenbury and James Greenbury. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy did volunteer work for the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society along with numerous other fund raisers.
