He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Soto Valentin; and his siblings, Jose Valentin, Angel Valentin, Demesia Valentin-Rivera and Mariano Valentin.
He is survived by: his father Pedro Estremera Valentin; his wife Blanca Valentin (Candelaria); his children, Rosa Valentin-Ruiz (Edgar Y. Ruiz), Luz M. Valentin, Maria "Margie" Ruiz (Lee Reyes) and Freddie Valentin (Patty Valentin); his grandchildren, Austin T. Ruiz (Ava Koziak-Ruiz), Brandon V. Ruiz, Ethan J. Ruiz, Kaylee Rose Reyes and Julian L. Reyes; his great grandchild Frances Rose Marie Ruiz; and his siblings, Liborio Valentin, Aurelio Valentin and Maria "Meri" Rosado.
Entombment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ, In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association.
