We announce the death of Jose Manuel Roman of Bloomfield, New Jersey, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 74. Jose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Roman. He is survived by: his children, Laurie, Gina and Joe; his grandchildren, Brielle, Tomasito, Marco, Jacob, Auggie and Lincoln; his siblings, Elba, Norma, Haydee and Nelson; his sister-in-law Rosie; his nieces, Chrissy and Wanda; and his children-in-law, Tomas and Monica. He is also survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Boyle Funeral Home (309 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Lucy's Church (118 7th Ave, Newark, NJ 07104).
