He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Giatras Arena; his children, Julie Arena-Piccoli (Alfred), Deanna Arena and Jonathan Arena; his grandchildren, Delaney, Jake, Logan, Penelope and Cara; his sister Filomena Cirillo; his niece Maria Alfano; and his goddaughter Kristin Blodnik Post.
