He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Tech (Elizabeth Finkler) and Bloomfield Tech; and his brother-in-law Joseph Marcheel. He is survived by: his wife Michelle; his children, Catherine, Julianne and Joseph (Amanda); his father-in-law Michael (Julia Marcheel); his siblings, Arthur and Mary Levine; his nieces, Jocelyn and Jessi; his nephew Joseph; and his siblings, Francis Finkler, Mary Beth McDonald and Helen Finkler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joe's memory to Holy Family Forward in Faith Capital Campaign, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley, NJ 07110 and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN).
