With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph A. Tomon of Bloomfield, New Jersey, born in Montclair, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Tomon and Mary (Maciaszcyk); his sister Theresa Kalan (Vincent); his nieces, Krystyna Basara and Anna Paryzki; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kora, Clare, Matthew and Julya.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shook Funeral Home (639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 8:45 AM and at 10:00 AM at the St. John Kanty RC Church (49 Speer Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery (654 Ferry Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901).
