With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kenneth Joseph Verderese of Bloomfield, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kenneth Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Verderese and Grace Verderese; and his sister Joanne. He is survived by: his sister Gail Verderese.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home (45 Roseland Ave, Roseland, NJ 07068). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church (28 Livingston Ave, Roseland, NJ 07068). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Southern Missions / Spiritual Society, in honor of Ken's enduring faith and generous spirit.
