It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Mendelson (Bloomfield, New Jersey), born in Lakewood, New Jersey, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Sharon Mendelson and Oscar Mendelson; her pet Yogi; her sister Dana; her brother-in-law Jeff Parker; her cousin Ruthie Mass (Marvin); her siblings-in-law, Linda and Michael Woods; her niece Carrie Gomes (Danny); her great-nephew Max; and her goddaughter Trinity Colon. She is also survived by her extended family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the O'Boyle Funeral Home (309 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. During the pandemic, their support meant the world.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation or in support of the staff at St. Michael's Medical Center. whose compassionate care Sally so deeply valued.
