She was predeceased by: her spouse Baljit; her parents, Joseph and Sukhia; and her brothers, Suna, Sukul, Hapata, Fraser and Bisnauth.

She is survived by: her daughter Basmattie; her grandchildren, Roshnie, Rennie and Ashminie; her grandchildren-in-law, Karishma, Ganesh (Freddy) and Gav; her great grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Sierra, Kaylee, Chris, Mariana, Nicholas, Ariana, Sanjay and Melissa; and her sibling's children, Mickey, Saroj, Shalo and Davo.
