With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty L Barrett of Bloomingdale, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Phillip M. Barrett; her siblings, Doris Brown, Chester Van Orden, Shirley Brown, Edward Van Orden, Arlene Beck, Gail Mathews, Gloria Broughman and Linda Witty; and her stepdaughter Sharon Barrett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Leonardi (Charles), Karen Joy (Michael) and Connie Glaeser (Stephen); her stepchildren, Phillip Barrett and Donna Decker (Garry); her sisters, Marie "Pat" Van Orden and Helen Rupp; her grandchildren, Jonathon Joy, Michelle Murray (Sean), Zackery Glaeser (Ashley), Kristen Glaeser and Charles "CJ" Leonardi; and her stepgrandchildren, Garry Decker, Jr. (Marrisa), Jamie Calcagno (Brad), Breanna Kowal, Kimberly Leitz (Justin) and Racheal Barrett. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Atlantic Hospice in memory of Betty.
