He is survived by : his wife Linda of Bloomingdale; his children, Keith Berecz (Allison) of South Orange and Dawn Turrin (Reed) of Butler; his grandchildren, Lily, Mia Berecz, Blake and Faye Turrin; his sister Veronica Sandor of Arizona; his niece Emese Sandor; and his nephew Lazlo Sandor (Courtney).

Donations in Joseph's memory can be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or St. Leon Armenian Church in Fair Lawn.

“Dear Linda. I am so sorry to hear that Joe passed. He was always joking and happy. Great storyteller too! The all you can eat dinners we did were always funny American we had great times I will not be able to atten the services unfortunately (medical issue) but my heart will be with you and Keith and Dawn. I’m so sorry Linda. Love, joann”
