It is with sadness that the passing of William Francis Schafer of Bloomingdale, New Jersey is shared. William passed away on June 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Schafer and Teresa Schafer; and his brothers, Robert Schafer and John Schafer. He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Schafer; his sons, Bill Schafer (Kimberly) and Kevin Schafer (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Joshua and Zachary; his brother David Schafer; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda, Ashley, Katie, Ann Michelle, Michael, Shaun and John. He is also survived by great grand nieces and nephew, many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), whose mission of providing hope and healing to children and families reflects the compassion and generosity that Bill carried throughout his life.
