He is survived by: his close friend Margaret "Peggy" Lucretia LeFebvre; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Mitchell; his children, Dennis Mitchell (Maria), Deacon Stephen Mitchell (Mary), Mark Mitchell (Elizabeth "Liz"), Ann Tomaszeski (Michael), Paul Mitchell (Patricia "Tricia"), Matthew Mitchell (Kristen), Margaret "Meg" Mitchell and Lucretia Koba (Richard); his grandchildren, Claire (Tim), Colleen, Daniel, Peter (Sammy Jo), Andrew, Anthony, Allison (Joe), Brigid, John, Michael, Ellen, Joseph, Maureen, Raymond, Kaitlin, Sierra (Brandon), Madison, Saige, Devin, Patrick, Connell and Shannon; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Eric, Lucy Jo, Leah, Nina, Tommy and Ryder.
