Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint JoAnne leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph P. Higgins; her friend William E. Shanley; her sister Patricia Ann Hart; and her sibling's children, Kaitlyn Pascale and Victor Chesna.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley J Shanley of Parsippany; and her grandsons, Hunter Shanley-Steele and Aidan Shanley-Steele. She is also survived by Many Nieces & Nephews as well as Great nieces & nephews and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Christopher's Roman Catholic Church (1050 Littleton Rd, Parsippany, NJ 07054).
