He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; and his granddaughter JoAnn Bozek. He is survived by: his children, Gail Wilson (Daniel), Raymond Smythe (Gail), B. Lynn Karas (James) and Robert Smythe (Laurie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
