He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Fredrick and Elsie May Matney; and his siblings, Floyd (Clifford Matney), Doyle Baker, Violet Kilborn and Eva Baker (Dorothea Marks).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Debbie Clemens (Bob) of Bordentown Township, Cindy Alustiza (Will) of Bordentown City, Donald Matney of Bordentown City, Ronald Matney of Cherry Hill and Diane Reeves (Duane) of Medford; his brother Marvin E. Matney of Lampasas, TX; and his grandchildren, Bobby, Keith, Courtney, Brent Clemens, Jason, Chris, Austin, Owen Alustiza, Donald, Giulia and Brittany Matney.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peppler Funeral Home (122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ 08505). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
