He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Kirkpatrick and Dorothy Kirkpatrick; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: the mother of his children Jane Erickson; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Susanne Kirkpatrick of Bradley Beach, NJ; his daughter Kristine; his son-in-law Carl Downey of Bel Air, MD.; his grandchildren, Ryan, Kiley, Timothy Kirkpatrick, Thomas, Sean and Samantha Downey; his nephews, Daniel (Lindsey) and David (Mercy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Keisha (Ben), David, Kinsley, Lincoln, Matthew (Paola), Emily, Theodore and Beckham.
