She was predeceased by: her father Vincenzo; and her brother-in-law Peter Halpern. She is survived by: her husband Lyle M. Strain; her daughter Lynne Krauser (Keith); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nate, Ben and Alicia; and her sisters, Amalia "Lia" Trench and Marina Halpern.
