James R. Richart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James R. Richart in Bound Brook, New Jersey, born in Somerville, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Theodore Frederick Richart and Margaret Richart; and his siblings, Joan Richart and David Richart. He is survived by: his wife Deirdre Kramer; his pet Mikey; his children, Jon Richart (Liz Richart) and Annie Callahan; his son-in-law Brian Callahan; and his grandchildren, Joe Callahan (Sandra Callahan), Libby Callahan and Sophie Callahan (Grace Treanor).
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Cemetery (192 S Bridge St, Somerville, NJ 08876). During the pandemic, he discovered Christ Church Greenwich in Greenwich, Connecticut through their Zoom services and was drawn to their intellectual depth, forward-thinking values, and all-accepting spirit.
