He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Staton and Dorothy Staton; his wife Judy Sue Staton; and his sister Dorothy of Edison, NJ.. He is survived by: his daughter Jill Staton Long (Kevin Long) of Bridgewater, NJ; his granddaughters, Emily and Molly Long; his son Jeff Staton (Kim Whiting) of Tulsa, OK; his grandchildren, Eliza and Theo; and his pets, Toby and Juno.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Church (60 Maple St, Bridgewater, NJ 08807).
