With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara L. Solensky of Brick, New Jersey, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle E. Black and Edith M. Gower Black; and her husband John E. Solensky. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Rachel Amelia Manni (Justin) and Austin Joseph Sigler (Amy); her great grandchild Charlotte; her sister Judith A. Cook (Joseph); her children, Linda Sigler, Anna Mae Solensky and John Solensky II; her son-in-law Eric Sigler; and her brothers, Charles R. Black and Richard E. Black. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (304 W Pike St, Canonsburg, PA 15317). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 9:40 AM and at 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (317 W Pike St, Canonsburg, PA 15317).
