We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 89, Carol L. Bals of Brick, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Carol may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois German and Gordon German; her son Justin Bals; her grandson Josiah Bals; her sister Judy; and her brother-in-law Donald Nealon.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Bals of Brick, NJ; and her children, Edward (Janet Bals), Jeanette (Mark Baker), Germaine (Michael Jordan), Kevin (Lilly Bals), Gordon (Dawn Bals) and Mary Claire Brennan. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews; twenty grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Martha's RC Church (3800 Herbertsville Rd, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742).
